Success!

I have to say that tonight couldn't have gone any better. My mom and I arrived at Studio 213 and went right to work.

Here is my space before....

And here is everything set up! It turned out amazing :)

Please stop in if you're in the area and browse the many local artists that have displays.

New Adventure

Tomorrow will begin a new adventure for me. I will be renting a 4 'x 5' space to display and sell my photography! It will be located in Studio 213 in downtown Appleton, WI. The studio has many local artists work so if you are ever in the area, please stop in!! Selling my photography to the public has been a dream of mine for a long time and I can't believe it's finally happening.

I will make sure to post pictures tomorrow once I have everything set up. Wish me luck!!

Since spring isn't here yet, I thought I'd post a beautiful iris to at least get us in the spring frame of mind :)

Black and White

As I spent tonight going through all my old photos...I couldn't help but pull some aside. You'd think with it being winter that black and white would be the last thing I'd want to see! I think some images are just meant to be without color. Here are some I played around with tonight. Enjoy!

Frosty morning

These types of mornings are my favorite...at least in winter that is. Everything just seems a little bit magical.

The young eagle came back to visit the other day. I noticed he has a band on his leg which means I'm assuming they are being tracked. I have only been able to count two young ones...not sure if there are others.

Winter Wonderland

The winter months seem to put a damper on my photography. My fingers can only stand being uncovered for so long. I did want to get some photos posted that I've taken recently near my work. We have been blessed with what seems like a family of bald eagles! Hope you enjoy the many images you will see as I had a hard time narrowing down the eagles, ducks, and beautiful winter landscape.

I hope everyone is staying warm and I promise to keep posting photos!!!
